Its supposed to be a cold and stormy winter in the Mid-Atlantic. We are already hankering for spring and this workshop will get us in the mood for warmer days, but without the usual too perfect garden planting designs and seed starting kits. Instead, plan how to steward your own edible wild garden.

Open to the public as part of a collaboration between Meadowsandmore and the Schuykill Center for Environmental Education, one of the largest (325) preserved open spaces in the urban Philadelphia area.

And of course samples and recipes for winter foraging will be on hand for extra fortification.
